Project (UI/UX global) and SKKU will hold Invited Expert Lectures on ‘Internet
Science: Network, Society and Users’ on April 22.
In the first lecture, Erik Bohlin (the
editor-in-chief of Telecommunication policy, the President of Telecom Society)
will speak on the topic of ‘Information Society Policy in Comparative
Perspective’. In the second lecture, Jim Jansen (the editor-in-chief of
Internet Research) will speak on the topic of ‘The Construct of Interaction in
Information Science’. In the third lecture, Shyam Sundar (the editor-in-chief
of Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication) will speak on the topic of ‘Source,
Medium and Message Interactivity’. And the last part will be Donghee Shin’s speech.
This seminar is getting rating for the
place to have an insight into innovative services like Internet of Things from
an organic angle of network, objects and users in a merging of Information,
Communication, and Broadcasting. Especially, the seminar is providing political
views and industrial implications in the situation of smart innovation like Big
Data, OTT, UHD. Dr. Shin is emphasizing that innovation for users will be the
key to success in the development of Big Data and Internet of Things. And he is
advising that micro fusion like policy, Macro-governance of Business Strategy, Core
competencies of Smart technology, Interaction, and UX will be the core of the sustainable
smart ecosystem.
