1. Application Period: Tues, Oct 21, 2014 ~ Wed, Oct 29, 2014

2. Time: 10:00 a.m. ~ 05:00 p.m.

3. Documents to be submitted

i) Pre-defense for PhD and MIS/PhD combined

  ① Application for the Preliminary Defense of the Thesis

  ②Declaration of Ethical Conduct in Research

ii) Defense for MIS

      ① Application for the Final Defense of the Thesis(MIS)

  ②Declaration of Ethical Conduct in Research

  ③Approval of the qualification for Thesis submission, and related attachments

          (Regarding ‘Presentation of a full-paper at a relevant conference’)

 iii) Defense for PhD and MIS/PhD combined

  ① Application for the Final Defense of the Thesis(PhD)

  ②Payment report for External Committee Members

      ③Declaration of Ethical Conduct in Research

  ④Approval of the qualification for Thesis submission, and related attachments

     (Regarding ‘At least 1 SSCI/SCI/SCOPUS journal article published (or accepted) as a lead or co-author')

4. Documents submission

  i) How to submit: by Visit or Post

  ii) Where to submit: B307 International Hall, 25-2, Sungkyunkwan-Ro, Jongno-Gu, Seoul, Korea 110-745

5. Future schedule

  i) Submission of the Application for the withdrawal of the defense: to Fri, Nov 21, 2014 (by Visit or Post)

  ii) Submission of the Final Examination Result Report: to Fri, Dec 19, 2014(by Visit or Post)

  iii) Notification of the examination schedule: to Wed, Nov 12, 2014(by e-mail)

    (ex: student no. / name / examination type / examination date & time / requests)

6. Note

  i) You should submit the documents with your advisor’s imprint or signature.

  ii) We will get the chair’s imprint or signature after the receipt. So you don’t have to get it.

  iii) If your advisor is a foreign professor and it’s difficult to get your advisor’s signature, you can submit the documents

without your advisor’s signature. But you should submit something to prove your advisor’s approval.

  iv) The documents must be original copies.

  v) The examination should be held with all supervisory committee members. And you should inform us of your examination schedule

for classrooms rental and notification by Nov 12, 2014

  vi) Unless there is no special reason, the supervisory committee of the Defense for PhD and MIS/PhD combined should be included

the supervisory committee members of the Pre-Defense.

  vii) Please note the prerequisite for the defense of the thesis.
