강사소개:
장유성 박사는 산업용 AI 회사인 Vivity AI Inc.의 창업자 및 CEO이다. 2023년 7월 설립된 Vivity AI는, 미국 실리콘베이에 본사를 두고 있고 현재 한화시스템에서 100억 이상의 투자를 유치한, 중공업 전반의 디지털 혁신을 주도할 인공지능 제품 개발에 주력하는 회사이다. 장유성 박사는 창업 직전 이마트그룹의 Future Digital Transformation T/F장, 이마트의 온라인커머스 포탈인 SSG.COM의 최고기술책임자(Chief Technology Officer)등을 역임했다.
장유성 박사는 뉴욕대에서 수학 석사, 뉴욕주립대에서 컴퓨터공학과 박사를 받은 뒤, 데이터와 인공지능 기반 서비스업계에 종사해왔다. 애플 시리, 삼성 빅스비, 아마존 알렉사 등 AI음성비서 서비스를 제공하는 미국 울프램 알파 창립멤버로, 미국 울프램 리서치에서 최고 제품 경영자(Chief Product Officer)로 여러 해 근무했다. 삼성에서 선행 UX그룹 및 삼성 헬스 개발 및 서비스를 전담하고, 미국 실리콘밸리에서 AI를 제약, 헬스케어에 활용하는 업체를 창업하는 등 다양한 활동을 펼쳐왔다. 그 후 SK텔레콤 Mobility사업단장으로 재직하며 국내 네비게이션 1위인 T맵, T맵택시 등의 서비스, 그리고 자율주행 및 ADAS(Advanced Driver Assistant System)등의 미래 기술의 상용화를 주도해 왔다.
장유성 박사는 데이터 및 인공지능 기반 서비스의 개발, 국내외 스타트업 생태계 조성, 그리고 이런 기술들이 사회 전반에 미칠 영향에 대해 큰 관심을 두고 있다.
